:: GOOEY CHOCOLATE PUDDING

OK I KNOW I KNOW THIS IS MEANT TO BE A HEALTHY BLOG! But this recipe is not my fault, I made it to cheer someone up! I could play on that whole chocolate is good for you crap but realistically, there are no health benefits to this at all. They do taste great and sure your grand once you eat things like this in moderation! I can't help feel I'm contradicting myself in posting this but here it comes:

Gooey Chocolate Pudding!
- 150g of good quality plain chocolate
- 125g of unsalted butter
- 3 Eggs
- 150g of sugar
- 35g of flour
This one of the easiest baking related recipe's i know, it takes about 10 Min's to prepare. First of all break up the chocolate and microwave with the butter until both are melted. In a bowl mix the eggs sugar and flour together until any lumps are gone. Then slowly incorporate the chocolate and butter mix until mixed through.
Grease about eight ramekins or muffin tins, and pour the mixture in. They should only need about ten Min's in an oven at 175 degrees Celsius.
Enjoy (in moderation ;)

Hey, really liking your blog:)
Just wondering, what exactly is 'good quality' chocolate? Do you mean like Green & Blacks? Or would a plain bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk be considered ok? I'm going to make these tonight, so just want to check first!
Thanks:)
I say good quality, but really it doesn't make a HUGE difference, I have made these with Cadbury's dairy milk and it work just fine too. Green & Blacks would be great but the ones pictured were shamelessy made with tesco's chocolate! ;)
Enjoy!
Cool, thanks for that:)
is that a piece of white chocolate in the middle of the pudding?
What a wonderful recipe!
Yes i forgot to mention that! :)
Tis good work you do, carry on...

Gosh! This looks so simple yet rich and decadent! This feels like the perfect chocolatey thing on a cold, rainy day. Yum!
Great photos. This all looks delicious. Seriously going to give this a go sometime soon.
Great blog.
I made these tonight, they were fantastic! Only one thing- they took 20-25 minutes to cook. Thanks for the great recipe though ^v^.
Me, too -- I baked it at 350(F) for about twenty minutes. It crowned nicely in the oven, but cratered at some point after we'd put the dishes on the cooling rack. However, the flavor was excellent.
I tried out the recipe... it was really quick to make... and tasted just like you said.... gooey. It was really delicious. Though it should be timed so that it can be served soon after it is done, else you're right, Bill, it does get a bit deflated (the taste does not change though).
OK guys just reread the post! It's celcius not farenheit sorry I'm gonna change it asap! :)
hi, this pud looks fab. is that plain flour or self raising?
plain flour does the trick! ENJOY! :)
this is a great recipe. I used the Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate. Also to make it lighter i whisked the egg whites and folded the chocolate sauce into the egg whites - try it :))

Well do your best! ;)
Loved the recipe as did my friends who I made it for. Made me very popular for the night!!
what a yummy recipe! and that perfect way to enjoy chocolate :)
Now this pudding is for chocolate fans sounds heavenly!!!!!
I know it was a long time ago that you posted this recipe, but bless you for doing so! I've made these lots of times, but usually forget the quantities, so it was great to find your site and be able to double-check. I've found them to be even better with salted butter rather than unsalted (made once that way by accident, never looked back). Also, a few chilli flakes always works wonders too. And the addition of a few fresh berries.
Thanks again.
hi there qenny, love your suggestions here, and may I say I'm honoured to have my first comment from a gay magician! :)
Wow, just wow. My mouth is watering over that melted butter sitting in the middle as much as it is over the chocolate-y goodness.
Delicious Recipes
Awesome effort
Keep up the good work

Just wondering, is that a square of white chocolate sitting in the middle, or butter? Do you just drop a piece of chocolate/butter (whichever it is!) into the mixture in the ramekins just before putting in the oven?
About to try these today!!
hey! Yup its just a square of white chocolate!
Wow these look amazing =)
Do these have to be eaten hot/warm? What's their texture like? A colleague of mine is having a birthday soon, and I'm thinking of making these for him, but since they have to be transported to work...
Wow.that looks amazing. I love gooey chocolate. I can't wait to try it. anything in the crokpot is my friend, unless it contains liver or something weird like that. I made this for my family and have made it at least 6 times since then for friends and family. My mouth is watering.
